Kate, age 14, sings for thousands. Born and raised in a small Montana town, she performs at rodeos, fairs, civic events, stage performances, and churches. Now with her twin sister, Lily, accompanying her, Kate sings at music festivals (“The Nelson Girls”).

 

Kate showed her grit at age eleven when she stated, “I want to be a female Josh Groban. He is the gold standard.” In an interview, David Foster said, “I want to find another 17-year-old Josh Groban. They just don’t exist.” Well, here she is, only she is a 14-year-old girl, and her name is Kate.
